DSLR Shutter - Free sequence capture control for Mac/PC + lots of DSLRs. You need a shutter control interface, like this one in order to use this with a Nikon however.
I am sorry for very late answer, but there was (and still is) a lot of work on the SDK driver, I would like to finish ASAP.

The software maps out and labels most of the constellations, planets, and objects you can see with a telescope. It can also download Digitized Sky Survey Charts and superimpose images over these charts. Numerous star charts and indexes can be installed. There are also telescope interfaces and many versatile display options.

Hi Daniele, Use the macam application to adjust the settings to your liking. The choose the menu item "Save Settings" and quit. Now when you start another application that uses the macam component, those settings will be used.
