If you want to use some kind of distributed setup, just start INDIGO server on remote machine and let it detect connected devices. They will be discovered by client applications the same way as if they will be connected directly to your desktop.
Yes they have ASTRODSLR which I tried indoors and it worked well with Canon 70D. Currently it only supports Canon DSLRs. The beauty of these applications (cloudmakers apps) is that they are simple.
If you're running an Orion autoguider and you've not upgraded their drivers for some time and things don't work - upgrade their drivers from their site.
