The official release will be during 2015. Nonetheless, there will be a free version available for download well before the final release. MacVector 15.5 requires Mac OS X 10.7 or later. It will NOT work on Windows, Mac OS 9 or on Mac OS X 10.6 or earlier. The Integrative Genomics Viewer (IGV) is a high-performance visualization tool for interactive exploration of large, integrated genomic datasets. It supports a wide variety of data types, including array-based and next-generation sequence data, and genomic annotations. Mac Pro Vector I like CLC Workbench, although that's not for free. But the trial version does the job for most simple applications (e.g. sequencing or mutagenesis). You must log in to answer this question.

If you had a valid maintenance contract with MacVector, Inc on December 1st 2009, you are eligible to receive the MacVector 11.1.2 release. You can download the updater from this link. To determine if your license will be valid, choose the MacVector->About MacVector menu item - the resulting dialog will display your license details, including the date your maintenance agreement will expire. If the disk image does not automatically mount on your desktop when the download is complete, double-click on the MacVector13.0.7(38) file in your downloads folder to open the virtual CD. This installer includes the Assembler module but the module will only be activated if you have a valid Assembler license. When the MacVector disk image mounts, you should first see an end-user licensing dialog appear similar to this;

Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder in Launchpad, and select All Processes on the drop-down menu at the top of the window. Select the process(es) associated with MacVector 14.0 in the list, click Quit Process icon in the left corner of the window, and click Quit in the pop-up dialog box (if that doesn’t work, then try Force Quit).
