Click this button for the device settings window that allows you to adjust settings for the audio capture such as sample rate, sample size, and volume. These settings are set on a per-camera basis, so two different cameras can use the same audio device with different settings (this is useful if you are using an audio device with multiple inputs and want to assign each input to a different camera for example).
Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) support for many cameras
For each camera this window shows the camera name, the capture status, the motion bar, and the mode (active or passive). The capture status area shows any timelapse or motion detection captures in progress: "TL" indicates a timelapse capture and "MD" indicates a motion detection capture. If the status is "Idle" then no video is being captured.

Any files captured since the last scan will be added in red, indicating that they have not yet been queued for display in the movie area. To play these files, use the Rescan option in the Browser menu (see below) to add them to the movie display.
Turn this option on to upload an image with a fixed name to an FTP server periodically, replacing the previous file on the server each time. This can be used, for example, to continuously update an image on a web site.
This capture destination is used for all video and still image captures for this camera. By default, a capture destination is automatically created in the Captured Files folder (~/Documents/SecuritySpy/Captured Files/) so there is normally no need to choose one yourself. You generally don't need to access the capture destinations directly in the Finder - you can use the browser feature to view captured footage (but to reveal the Captured Files folder in the Finder, select it from the list of folders in the File menu.)

Note that devices typically require administrator username/password details for controlling PTZ, so make sure these have been entered correctly in the Preferences -> Cameras -> Device window. Non-admin authentication details required for simply viewing video may not be enough for controlling PTZ.
