Hi, It all depends on what you mean by drag and drop. I'll give a few comments below but I could be more specific if you desrcibed your intentions in more detail. 1) Drag from AQT: Just being able to drag the plot from the aquaterm window would be straightforward and simple to implement, just as for any Cocoa application. It is not implemented right now since I'm focussing on rewriting the "back-end" of aquaterm, i.e. the client API and the stuff that goes into llibaquaterm. Adding goodies to is a later issue. If you'd like to add that functionality, just have a look at the sample code provide by Apple. 2) Drag into AQT: Dragging e.g. an image into the window to add it to the current plot would not be very useful until the object inspector is brought back to life. (It has been retired while I rewrite the back-end since I've changed the model classes quite a bit.) In its planned new form, it will let the user manipulate any object in the plot. 3) Dragging e.g. a gnuplot script onto aquaterm won't be possible but would have to be handled by an app that wraps both gnuplot and aquaterm functionality. I hope this helps to clarify the situation and if not, please feel free to ask again ;-) /Per
Welcome to Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator.
I've been using DeltaGraph Pro for years, since the mid 90s, and it allows to finely tune scientific charts to your needs. My problem with it, lately, is that I perceive a certain lack of attention in recent versions, with occasional issues when generating the files in postscript. GraphPad Prism is also very good, particularly interesting if you are dealing with Km/Ks constant calculations in enzymes/transport.
The focus appears to be on the enhancement of the Vortex bioinformatics tools reviewed previously.

Hi all! First, my apologies to those who get this mail twice, I'm deliberately cross-posting... Since you have signed up for the AquaTerm mailing lists, I'm hoping that you could help in testing the latest release of AquaTerm before it is publicly released. The main reason for my request is that it now comes with an installer, to make installation really simple. An installer however, can create all sorts of problems and I'd like to weed out any serious bugs before going public. So, if you could take some time to download (236kB) the installer from and go through the install procedure and make sure everything works as expected, I'd be very grateful. Then, return feedback noting success or any problems encountered. *** Beware, that even though I've tested things (Dr. Jekyll style) there may be bugs hyding(!) that could cause damage to your system *** What I'm particularly interested in is getting feedback from different setups, such as: * freshly installed system * /usr/local not previously populated * interference from previous installed versions * different OS versions (10.1--10.3 is meant to be supported) * whether e-mail feedback/bugreport menu works or not if is not the default (and/or not configured) mail handler Just a short recap for those of you who haven't been following development closely for the past year: Major new features compared to AquaTerm 0.3.2 * Comes as an installer package * Unified APIs in C and Objective-C * Event handling support (exploited in PGPLOT) * Multiple clients * User preferences * Window arranging (cascade/tile) * Remember save destination folder and file type * Respects on-screen window size when updating * Speed improvements ToDo near term: * Further speed improvements * Improve documentation long term: * make AQT a component, e.g. for inclusion in Cocoa wrappers of CLI apps * editing of plot parts, e.g. adding/replacing labels (text) with typset output from (La)TeX source OK, pretty long mail... I'll stop here;-) Thanks, Per
