Video Stream Key Frame Rate
We recommend the tinyCam Monitor app. To set up a camera in the tinyCam app: add a new camera, set the Vendor to Mac and the Model to SecuritySpy, enter the IP address, port and username/password of your SecuritySpy server, and in Advanced Settings set the channel number to a SecuritySpy camera number. In this way you can add multiple cameras to be viewed by the app for live video streaming. Alternatively, the IP Cam Viewer app also supports live video and audio streaming from SecuritySpy.
Enable SecuritySpy's web server feature in the Preferences -> Web window.
In multicast mode, one stream is sent that can be received by multiple clients. The advantage of multicast is that clients can "tune in" to this single stream with no extra load on the server or increase in required network bandwidth. This method allows for very efficient distribution of video to a large number of clients, however it requires networks that support multicasting.

You should set the frame rate of the camera's video stream to the lowest rate that is acceptable for your purposes. Frame rates that are too high waste network bandwidth and your Mac's CPU resources.
