Congratulations on getting this far. Now for the tricky bit. By default the required dynamic library is not available on OSX’s default search paths. You can solve by using one of the following 3 options. Once the library is available to OSX you can install DBD::mysql with the following command (ensure your MySQL server is running otherwise the library’s test suite will fail). I prefer to use the second option and symbolically link the library into /usr/lib but this does require admin rights.
App-cpanminus provides the cpanm tool, which makes installing modules very simple to do.
Installs the ExifTool documentation and API libraries (full Perl version only).
This will install the Mail::Box Perl module. As with CPAN, the package manager will download any modules required to run the one you want to install, before installing yours.

The Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives (PEARLS) is a national evidence-based program for late-life depression. PEARLS brings high quality mental health care into community-based settings that reach vulnerable older adults.
Open the Command Window (Start -> Run -> type in cmd) When you get the "DOS" prompt type in cpan Path::Tiny. Please note, module names are case sensitive, so typing cpan path::tiny or cpan PATH::TINY will not work!

Also, Perlbrew is not necessarily easier, simply because having one package manager manage your packages is better than having many package managers (cargo, npm, gem, etc). It suggests that maybe there should be a package manager for all these package managers... I'd personally want to use the simplest way possible to install something unless I had a reason.
The DBD::SQLAnywhere interface is now ready to use.
The default perlbrew root directory is ~/perl5/perlbrew, which can be changed by setting PERLBREW_ROOT environment variable before the installation and initialization. For more advanced installation process, please read the perlbrew document.
A generic documentation on executing Perl code is of course perldoc perlrun.
