Apparently MailSteward has not been properly signed since the introduction of MacOS Sierra (10.12), which may account for a sudden, significant drop in sales since Apple released Sierra last Fall. To get started, create a new database file. Name and locate the file wherever you wish (the default location is your Documents folder). Bottom line It took me at least four days to get all mails from Apple Mail archived; I have around 48.000 valid mails and some 40000 spam/ad mails; Mailsteward archived my 48.000 'real' mails and left the spam mailboxes. Now I have a databse of arounf 8 Gb (with all attachments included) and this does make me feel more safe ... now only how to archive this big database again ... :-) Helps organize and order huge amounts of mail [task4 launch];

Eudora mailboxes are also in an mbox format that can be imported into MailSteward. Eudora mailboxes are usually found in the ~/Documents/Eudora Folder/Mail Folder directory. If you are importing a Eudora mailbox, do not move or copy it to a different directory. MailSteward depends on the Eudora folder hierarchy to correctly process Eudora e-mail files.
